Communities That Care Stonnington is passionate about improving the health outcomes for young people. One of our strategies is to explore parent/carer attitudes towards supply of alcohol to their children.
We
have launched the Our Young People survey to gather community insights and understand the common
attitudes, beliefs and behaviours that exist. We do not place any judgement on
that insights collected, and all information is deidentified and securely
stored. The data we collect will
shape focus group conversation that will inform community action. The findings
of our work will be promoted back to the community, so watch this space!
Who can take part? For this work we are looking to engage with parents
and carers across the Stonnington community. This means parents and carers that
LIVE in Stonnington, WORK in Stonnington, or have
children that go to SCHOOL in Stonnington. The City of
Stonnington includes the suburbs of Armadale, Glen Iris (part), Kooyong,
Malvern, Malvern East, Prahran, South Yarra (part), Toorak and Windsor (part).
If you know a parent or carer please get them involved.
