We are looking forward to hosting our very first ‘Family Maths Night’ early in Term 3. The aim of the night will be to engage the school community in Mathematics through a range of hands-on activities. Families will have the opportunity to work collaboratively and apply their mathematical skills to problem solve a variety of open-ended challenges.
We will first begin the evening, as a whole group, in the school hall. This will be an opportunity for us to talk about the Maths program at our school and introduce you to our new ‘Magic Maths’ lessons. Families will then have the chance to visit all the classrooms with specified activities.
