Its French Day on Tuesday 1 May. The day will commence with a whole school assembly at 9.15 am where students will perform a number of items. A parade will also be held to select the best dressed students. Students are encouraged to wear ‘French coloured’ casual clothes or dress up in relevant costumes if they so wish. There will be a number of events (French music and dance by C’est si bon! pétanque, art, quizzes and cooking) undertaken on the day and students will rotate where possible to engage in the various activities. Our senior students will be helping in the kitchen making crepes, fruit salad, truffles and filling baguettes and croissants. Students are to bring their snack and lunch as normal as the food provided will be tastings and samples, what we call in French ‘ une amuse bouche’.
