Thanks to the combined efforts of our school community, our annual TPS Working Bee was a great success. Despite poor weather conditions on the day, many parents, children and staff got busy tackling numerous tasks around the school: the kitchen and pantry were cleared out and reorganised; the storage in the main hall got a complete revamp, as did the sports shed; and the new reading room is now fully set up. Moreover, we were able to harvest 20kg of green olives from the school’s olive trees to make the last week of term sustainability class a special one. The students had the opportunity to come to the kitchen and learn about how to cure olives without preservatives during a hands-on kitchen class. Please enjoy the following pictures to give you an impression of the day.
