Congratulations to Zachary Wood from year 5 who is a member of the Australian Boys Choral Institute. Zachary has recently been promoted to the rank of Junior Singer within the Choir training program. This important transition marks a significant step in Zachary’s training. In graduating from the Tyro program to Junior Singers, he has consolidated his musical knowledge, participated in weekend residential programs, and made considerable headway with his performance skills. Promotion to the rank of Junior Singer is also contingent on the development of a good, focused rehearsal manner and mastery of all Tyro skills – each of which requires much practice, persistence, and a good deal of patience in itself.
