As the 2019 season comes to a close many of our Toorak Basketball teams are looking strong and heading into the finals, none more so than our high performing, super successful girl’s teams, but a special mention must be made for both our Junior (Grade 3/4) and our Senior (Grade 5/6) TPS All Star Girls teams who will be competing in the Basketball Victoria Hooptime Interschool State Grand Final Day next Monday (3/4) and Tuesday (5/6). We know everyone at Toorak Primary will be wishing them every success on these prestigious and intense days.
Going into 2020 TPS is on the front foot and a Prep Boys team (Toorak T-Bolts) and an as yet unnamed Prep Girls teams have already been formed in Term 4 and have begun their training.
We now have a second Prep Girls team forming and are seeking interested young athletes to fill out the team. Team sports are vital in a child’s development for camaraderie, peer support, fitness, emotional strength and physical activity.
