TPS warmly welcome back our school community. The first few days have been a hive of activity and filled with reconnecting with other students and their teachers. The students have settled in extremely well to the school term and have been actively engaged in our School Start Up program. We look forward to commencing the educational partnership with our new families and strengthening connections with our existing ones.
At the start of the year, some students might experience times of uncertainty and possible anxiety over whether they’ll make friends, who should I play with etc. We all want the students to be successful in their schooling and through periods of transition. It is worth reflecting, similar to when they were learning to ride a bike, at times, it is important to let the bike wobble. This is important to foster independence, build resilience and empower your child to ultimately be successful.
I look forward to seeing you all at the welcome picnic that will occur later this term.
