Grade 1 Light and Colour Incursion

On Monday 30 October grade 1 students had a lot of fun participating in a light and colour incursion. They were able to explore the different ways light can be used and seen. One of their favourite parts was putting on glasses to see all the colours of light.

Grade 1 Zoo Excursion

Last Thursday, grade one students went to The Melbourne Zoo to discover and explore real life Minibeasts as part of our Inquiry unit. We all had a great time patting turtles and snakes, wandering through the butterfly enclosure and listening and learning from the zoo keepers whilst being ‘little explorers’.
