We are celebrating the German Spatzenschule’s tenth anniversary on Friday 7 of September with a brezel and cake sale during the lunch break. Brezel $3 and cake $2 will be for sale at the tuckshop. For each item bought, students will receive a free raffle ticket and go into the draw to win fantastic prizes valued between $10 and $70.
Students to participate in STEM activities in triads from their class. Prizes to be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd at a special assembly at the end of the day.
Students are encouraged to bring a lunch free of wrappers and only reusable containers. The class with the greatest number of students with Nude Food will be rewarded with 30 minutes of free time on the last day of school. If you are able to send your child to school with a rubbish free lunch, we would love your support.
In celebration of a busy, but exciting term, Grade 1 will have a small celebration on Thursday 21 September. We will say goodbye to Miss Hartley, Navya and Lydia and watch ‘A Bug’s Life’ to end our Inquiry Unit on minibeasts. We would love for everybody to bring in a plate to share, remember no nuts, or kiwi fruit.
