Mike Larkin Weather
May 23 @ 6:30 am – 7:30 am

Channel 10’s weatherman, Mike Larkin, will be filming the weather segment from Toorak Primary School on Monday 23 May and everyone is invited – students, parents and teachers – to be part of the segment. Mike and his crew will arrive at TPS at 4.30pm to set up. Come and watch television being made. Those who want to be part of the segments (to be seen on TV!) will need to be at the school by 5:15pm at the latest, for the first cross live to the school for the weather teaser at 5:32pm (the weather teaser is a 45 second segment). Mike will meet and chat to the students, answer questions, do a few quick rehearsals and then cross live for the half time weather and then again for the full weather at 5:55pm. Don’t forget to record the Channel 10 news that night because it’s live! And wear your cleanest school uniform!! Over the years Mike Larkin’s outgoing personality and talent has made him a household name as the weatherman for TEN. He also produces & writes his own segments. He continually enjoys making the weather entertaining with live crosses from Melbourne landmark’s including Melbourne Zoo, Federation Square, Flemington Racecourse, beaches and events like the GP and Comedy Festival. He got more than he bargained for on one outdoors broadcast, when a rhino at Werribee’s Open Range Zoo charged the car he was sitting in!
